Programme Outcome

The Program of Computer Application (PGDCA) provides an understanding and skills related to the use of computer and its applications. The objective of this Program is to develop professionals to meet the requirement of office automation and electronic data processing. Different application software is introduced to understand the practical usage as well as specific work areas of computers.

Course Outcomes

*. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of computer science and software engineering concepts
*. Design, develop, and test software applications using various programming languages and tools
*. Analyse and evaluate the requirements of the software industry and IT sector
*. Apply knowledge of database management, networking, and web development to real-world problems
*. Develop skills in project management, teamwork, and communication.

Eligibility

(i) Bachelor’s degree of Panjab University under 10+2+3 system of examination with atleast 50% marks in any discipline. OR
(ii) B.E. / B.Tech.
OR
(iii) B.Voc. (Software Development), B.Voc. (Hardware and Networking) & B.Voc. Multimedia (Graphics & Animation) course with at least 50% marks.
OR
(iv) Any other examination recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to(a) or(b) above.
